All quotes are free and valid for 30 days. Quotes are fixed prices for the described scope of work. If unforeseen issues arise once work begins, we will stop, inform you, and provide a revised quote before proceeding. We will never carry out additional work without your approval.
A contract is formed when you accept our quote in writing (including email or text) or by authorising us verbally to proceed. By accepting a quote, you confirm you are the property owner or have authority to commission the work.
For jobs under £500: full payment on completion. For jobs over £500: a 25% deposit may be required before work begins, with the balance due on completion. Payment is due within 7 days of invoice. We accept bank transfer and card.
Late payment may incur interest at 8% above the Bank of England base rate per annum in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
All work is performed to a professional standard and complies with BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations) and Part P of the Building Regulations. We provide a 6-year workmanship guarantee covering defects arising from our work. This does not cover damage by third parties, accidental damage, or events outside our control.
We carry £2 million public liability insurance. All work is NICEIC approved and certificated. Insurance documents are available on request.
You agree to provide safe access to the property, remove or protect belongings near the work area, inform us of any known property issues, ensure all necessary permissions are in place, and keep pets and children away from the work area.
Please give at least 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or postpone. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice may incur a fee of up to £75 to cover lost time. We will always notify you promptly of any delays on our side and will not charge cancellation fees where we are responsible.
Our total liability for any claim is limited to the value of the contract, except where liability cannot be limited by law (e.g. death or personal injury caused by our negligence). We are not liable for indirect losses, consequential losses, or damage caused by undisclosed pre-existing conditions.
If you are unhappy with our work, please contact us as soon as possible. We will acknowledge complaints within 2 working days and aim to resolve them within 14 days. Where a workmanship defect is confirmed within the guarantee period, we will return to remedy it at no charge.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. These Terms were last updated on 15 March 2026.
